Heidi Varela is an Instructional Designer and a Career & Technical Instructor at Round Lake High School and College of Lake County teaching Photography, Design and Video & Animation with over 17 years of instructional experience. Heidi works part time in the fields of graphic design, photography, videography, instruction and consulting.

Heidi is currently volunteering as her 7 year old daughter's Girl Scout Troop Leader.

In the past Heidi has volunteered as the President of DART (Digital Art Teacher's of Chicago), organizing the annual conference for 6 years and has volunteered as the Digital Arts Coordinator for the Illinois Art Education Association.
