Today I was up bright and early and took a shower right away since I had more fluid loss than expected overnight, but it quickly faded to a minimal amount within an hour. I had a non-stress test, a heart rate monitoring of the baby for 30 minutes this morning, which showed baby's heart rate doing things of a more mature baby. I ended up having a late breakfast since I was just easing into the day. My friend Kalista came to visit and brought me Panera Bread. We talked for hours and in a weird way it was nice to have an excuse to spend one on one time together and catch up and talk about being parents while we weren't surrounded by our own kids. My friend Erin from work called to tell me how the Digital Arts conference went without me on Friday and talk about how long I would be gone and when I would return to work after delivery. My nurse came in during the late afternoon to tell me they decided they wanted to do a blood test on me every 72 hours, just to have the blood on file if something were to happen. UGH! I hate giving blood, but it actually didn't hurt too much and they only took one vial. My parents "Facetimed" me and I got to "talk" to Sonja while she danced around my parents kitchen and play with the new tea set Papi bought her. Got a late night heart rate monitoring for a couple minutes which again showed good rates. Today I am 26 WEEK PREGNANT! This means Adeline now has an 80% survival rate, she could make a 1-2% survival rate increase everyday this week and it will be up to 90% by next Sunday. There is still high risk of neurodevelopmental impairment- 20% chance of severe impairment and 17% of moderate impairment, a 63% of being normal with no developmental impairment. They told me today that on April 28th, 34 weeks pregnant, they would move to induce me and then the baby would be in the ISCU until her original due date, June 9th.
